@excelblem yo idk if you read this but where are the remaining vods of your radiant dawn playthrough? wanted to watch through it but after stream 4 (end of act 1) theres only the 1000 kill stream. cant seem to find the rest of the vods anywhere else either

there are two types of fire emblem fan 1. only knows of the developers as an ethereal vague cloud of japanese 2. knows every major director and lead artist by name and can tell you exactly how each of them have "ruined" fire emblem in excruciating detail

overall this challenge had the vibes of being in the operations room of a sci fi story where all the special ops squads on the mission are being annihilated by unknown alien weaponry

My appreciation for fire emblem shadows in large part due to the fact that we might never get another pvp centric fire emblem related game It definitely blows all previous attempts out of the water.

Pretty much everyone involved is from Intelligent Systems including several long time directors and producers like Maeda and Kusakihara. Most team members have also worked on other FE projects, such as Heroes, Shadows of Valentia and Engage, though there is some new talent too.

Shortly after Fire Emblem Shadows released there was speculation that the game just another mobile game reskinned from another title, but looking into the IMDB credits it seems that is definitely not true. The game is through and through an Intelligent Systems work.

I was looking at some old interviews and apparently an old Fire Emblem project for the Wii after Radiant Dawn was intended to be a real time strategy game, but was ultimately cancelled. Is it possible that elements of that cancelled game ended up in Fire Emblem Shadows?

@Zekaria_V Paying attention to timers is definitely a more advanced technique despite how simple it is in concept. A lot of players are probably just playing with vibes without detailed knowledge of game mechanics

@excelblem I feel like a lot of ppl don't take into account that CDs are doubled while dead. One person will go down ie, me, and the abilities will still be spammed every 3 seconds and my other light friend will still vote me.

One really interesting concept in #FireEmblemShadows that has only emerged in the past few days is a character's "social strength", i.e. if that character can prove innocence by using recognizable skills. That's something I wasn't even thinking before but now feels natural

@Angel_Xem A lot of highly ranked people definitely achieved the rank early when the competition wasn't as fierce. There are many Shadow players at 2k+ who clearly got there by spamming minions and waiting for Light players to die

@excelblem I would say that it's more of a basic rule, but I've seen far too many people not getting it even at 2.7k+ c-ç
