Zwei Milliarden Euro zusätzliche Einsparungen nimmt sich der Finanzminister für das kommende Doppelbudget vor. Woher die kommen sollen, ist noch nicht bekannt - der Familienbonus sei ihm aber auf jeden Fall “nicht besonders sympathisch”. Es kann nicht sein, dass schon wieder nur von “einnahmenseitigem Sparen” - wie man Steuererhöhungen inzwischen beschönigend nennt - die Rede ist. Und dazu wieder einmal um den größten Brocken herumgetänzelt wird. Österreich ist mit einer immer schwieriger werdenden Demografie konfrontiert; die Politik will trotzdem lieber bei Familien sparen als bei den Pensionen. Diese Prioritätensetzung ist verantwortungslos. Da muss dem Finanzminister etwas besseres einfallen - wie wäre es abseits vom Pensionssystem etwa mit einer Föderalismusreform oder einem Förderstopp?
