Winterization is in full swing at Beal! 🌲🧊🌿 Our team has been working to transport plants from the garden to the shared @facilitiesmsu greenhouse. Some plants are not able to be moved & cuttings from these plants are propagated. By May/June they are replanted in the garden.

Beal Scholar Madelin Snook spent her summer working to eliminate invasive and non-native plants in the garden and around campus. For her scholar project she compiled a list of invasive ‘culprits’ and plants to keep out of your garden. 🌿🌱❌

Pumpkins are a plopping! Come compost your pumpkins at the 2023 Pumpkin Plop. The bin will be at our public drop-off center now through November 19th. **Please no candles or painted pumpkins.**

It is shaping up to be a busy weekend on campus and no matter if you are rooting for for the Spartans on the ice, gridiron, or hardwood, be sure to recycle your beverage containers and boxes!

Today may be our last warm(ish) and dry day, Spartans. Over the summer, our team at IPF installed new hammock posts all over campus. Take advantage of the weather, grab a blanket, and enjoy the peaking fall colors in a cozy cacoon along the Red Cedar. 🍂

Thank you to everyone who came by for Fall Fest 2023! With your help, we collected 170 pounds of nonperishable food for the MSU Student Food Bank! We would like to also thank our event collaborators @msulibraries, @MSU_Sustains, @WDBM for their help in making the event a success.
