The #ConsumerSentiment index has certainly been trending in the right direction, and the 1-year inflation expectation is lower, meaning people have more #PurchasingPower. This, combined with the stock market rally, has certainly improved economic sentiment. #InflationExpectation

Consumer sentiment printed at 63.9 in June vs the est of 60.0, with both Current & Expectations components higher. 1-Year inflation expectations also fell to 3.3%. Take falling inflation and add a stock market rally...people feel better pretty quickly.

Florida's #construction industry is feeling the squeeze from Gov. @RonDeSantisFL's #immigration bill, as per Local 10. The bill resulted in worker shortages, project cost increases, and delays. While public safety is cited as the reason, industry fears loom over project demand.

@DavidSacks That is an interesting opinion to consider when looking at short sellers' incentives.

Update: Jamie Dimon agrees with my point about the incentives of short sellers. “Some people are unscrupulous and they use other means to go short... [if] people are going short and then making a tweet about a bank, [the SEC] should go after them.” markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/jp…
