So valko is a super rich ceo, a super smart nerd, "from the same origin", is tied to the moon, shares a scent kink and has very similar myth clothes to a certain fish. Tell me again how he is unique? Can't say because he's like a puppy because that use to be calebs thing too

I have always been a firm believer that Caleb was the perfect final LI. He was 6 months behind on the others, but he already had a pre-existing lifelong relationship with MC, and that made it logical that his relationship progression would go faster than the others. They didn't have to build up from the ground, they had to learn to switch direction. When the second anniversary came and went, I didn't believe we'd still get a sixth LI. All five guys have been in solid, well-developed, steady relationships with MC for a good while now. It didn't make sense to me to add a whole new guy. There was no one in the main story that MC already knew that was a viable candidate, and even though people are going to disagree with me, I don't believe Valko has been foreshadowed anywhere in the story so far. For all intents and purposes, he appeared out of thin air. He's a complete stranger. So seeing the previews for his main story and his standard cards rubs me the wrong way. Because why is there so much familiarity and closeness already, when a week ago this man didn't even exist in the story yet? Even with Caleb, arguably the closest person in MC's life, the progression took a WHILE. All their close moments kindleds were pre-explosion. It seems to me that they are planning to speedrun the shit out of Valko's relationship progress so he won't be so far behind the other five. I don't think that's cute, I think that's incredibly lazy writing. Because if there is barely any relationship build up, what is there to become invested in? What is the payoff? Honestly, it's all very disappointing to me. I would have liked a sixth LI if he was done right, but from what I've seen so far Infold is really cutting corners with Valko. He seems like a shallow character that was hastily put together, and if they are also going to speedrun the relationship with MC, which I'm expecting they will from what we’ve seen today, then I'm really concerned for what that means for the broader storytelling that I've really loved so far. This game is supposed to be a visual novel, and it’s genuinely inconceivable to me that the story aspect has taken such a backseat. If you like Valko, I’m happy for you. I’m not going to hate on him, in fact I hope to be proven wrong. However, with all the shit that’s happened in the past week, I’m not very optimistic.

We will have release bonds and anecdotes. We will finally have new tender moments. Caleb will also have his 4 star colonel card. With tons of free dias - updated chocolate shop and lunar shop. We have cute amazing housing update of each of the LIs cooking at the kitchen. I feel like I’m living in a wrong timeline.

I'm now more convinced than ever that infold saw how popular caleb was and just reheated his nachos to make wolf boy "non-sibling" related so that global audiences can accept him... please tell me otherwise...
