Of course I have my own Jay-z stories I went to Jay-z as a young black filmmaker .My first feature Movie was Called Disciple, Starring Taral Hicks and Persia White We had a premiere party at the 40/40 in New York Jay-z already had the film so he decided to let us rent out 40/40 for 2 hours for 7 thousand dollars Obviously that was 2 steep for our blood at the time so we were gonna decline it we went to 40/40 to meet with him to decline his offer and he saw we were two black men just trying to do our thing. He said "You're the Clark Brothers? We said yeah he said Oh I thought you were white guys we said no this is us. Jay-z looked at us and said I tell you what as my gift to you guys Im going to let you rent 40/40 to show your film and you don't have to pay me anything just tip my bartenders. We need young black filmmakers keep doing your thing. Let us Rent out his club when it was on fire, and he waived the fee we rented it out for nothing. That Man didn't have to do that but he did no way you can tell me anything bad about Jay-z shortly aftr that I started working with him at 40/40. No Hov slander will be tolerated #Notonmywatch
