Today, we mark the fifth anniversary since Richard Okhorogheye was found.
Richard, aged 19 at the time, went missing from his home on 22 March 2021. He was unfortunately found deceased in Epping Forest two weeks later.
Behind the stories, Richard was a "gentle, thoughtful young man, whose future was full of promise."
We continue to share our deepest sympathies with Richard’s loved ones, especially his mother, Evidence, who has campaigned continuously to tackle racial bias amongst the police force, following their response to Richard’s disappearance.
Evidence continues to champion Richard's legacy through her tireless work, and their fond memories together.
