Sampling isn’t unoriginal. Being able to identify a good sample and chop it up/mix it/isolate it/etc is a talent. It’s one thing to hear a part of a song that’s good. It’s another thing to then give it new life. Can’t believe we still wanna see sampling as a cop out.
