@fimangels Which is plain stupid cause it's common sense that that is not the case - and I've seen ppl be like 'just use a dictionary!' which, yeah obv ppl are gonna look up words they don't know but that doesn't alter the point of the list? Ppl just look for anything to feel superior

I have an entire English degree, English is my first language, and I have read thousands upon thousands of books and I only knew like 3 or 4 of the words on the list. They aren't basic English words, not even remotely.

@jojo_escapist they’re very quirky words !! that’s the whole point of the book’s writing style, they’re intentionally absurd but this weirdo thinks every single book has words like these on all the pages

@fimangels Exactly 😭 like you never know the life someone has lead or what they had access to education wise. Or what they just like to read in general! Again, even w/ all my education I didn't know most of those words. Vocab isn't a sign of intelligence or superiority, not even remotely.
