Elisabeth Laing LJ has granted Sex matters permission to challenge the Hampstead ladies ponds policy.
Lieven J arguably wrong on delay/prematurity, standing, and reasons for refusing EoT.
The case will now proceed to a full hearing in the High Court.

The Divisional Court has granted the Home Secretary permission to appeal and suspended its quashing of the proscription of Palestine Action pending determination of the appeal.
The claimant’s application for permission to cross-appeal was refused.

As the Master of the Rolls repeatedly expresses incredulity that the Law Society thinks that its members could support this position, this post seems to be ageing rather better than most of my attempts!

I wonder if the Law Society canvassed its members before putting in a 36 page skeleton arguing Mazur was correctly decided? I'd have thought there will be a serious risk of pitchforks on Chancery Lane when its members find out.
