Watching the new SFA and the Turbolift scene. It reminded me of Star Trek Picard and they were rehearsing a Turbolift scene and I was watching and the light effect was going, and going, up and up and up. And I whispered to the Cinematographer, "When does it go to side?" He said "it's an elevator", I said "no, it's a Turbo lift"👀i i . .

@DaveBlass @MovieMantz It wasn’t until the HD remasters did we actually see how vibrant the colors were. Glorious. Even the best TV of the day could only do so much with what would have been a broadcast print several generations away from camera negative. It’s quite eye opening!

@MovieMantz The lighting design on Star Trek doesn't get enough attention. The green is a choice. The walls are grey, but that green sets the tone and is carried across all the characters. I have to do a deep dive as to meaning and inspirations.

THIS SINGLE MOMENT is THE REASON I’ve been a lifelong “STAR TREK” fan!!

Hug your people. Last night my show was cancelled for the night because someone ran into the theatre with his car. And he perished. It’s so sad and tragic and a reminder of how delicate life is. Sort of part of the message of the show. Sending love to all.
