PARIS SI MEGATHREAD 🇫🇷🧵 My second Six Invitational, and it might be my favourite event I’ve been to! I have no idea whose cat this is, nobody around me seems to know. He is friendly but very thin. The last month he has been waiting at my front door or under a nearby bush/car and follows me when I get home. I’ve taken to feeding him as his bones/ rib cage are showing. Today when I got home after food shopping he ran up to me meowing loudly so I let him in as the weather was pants. After some food, he decided to lie down on my bed. Think I may have been adopted?!

Today i increased my weight on incline press’s to 30 lbs and got 5 reps then lowered to 25 lbs for 12 and last set went to 30 again but then i dropped the 30 lb weight on my finger 😱 it’s killing me smalls. Also raised my landmine row weight to 80 lbs. My dead hang is up to a minute 30 and I did a minute plank with a 25 lb plate on my back 🥳 Not bad for an old lady

@babybeginner I’m proud of you for stepping up and out of your comfort zone to help Bruiser. At some point, forgive the line, “the gloves have to come off”. Take it slow, but do try to touch him with your bare hand. I have one feral cat who swipes at my leg of if I stop petting him.

Bruiser has accepted the pink welding gloves as a part of our interactions. I feel a lot safer. So far there has been no additional swiping at me. These are the trials and tribulations of taking care of a feral cat!

I used to be able to hang and do these for almost a minute. Now, after a few reps, I feel like my skin is ripping from my hands. 😞 I keep trying gloves chalk I don’t know what else to try.

@sledgemymute You need to pick up Woke AF pre-workout; preferably dragonftuit flavor. It’s great, better for yo than energy drinks (vaso-dilator so it’s great for blood pressure and cholesterol maintenance. Also much cheaper per serving. Vitamin shoppe or even Walmart.

Alright gym people and literally everyone else. I did something today that I am very proud of, not even my mother could ruin my day with this one. I DID MY FIRST UNASSISTED PULL-UP! No it wasn’t perfect or beautiful but I did it and was so excited I almost cried a little (but I didn’t) but I did jump around like an idiot.

Back on my bullshit fitness grind. I’ve signed up to a Half Marathon and day 1 of training starts today with an easy/slow run I’m going to be vlogging every day of training on my Insta/Tiktok (same tag as here) if anyone’s interested in following and holding me accountable 🏃

A couple of days late to post, but we officially adopted our new pup! The decision was just as much for our first dog as it was for us. Lacy seems so much happier to have a sibling, and it's only been 12 days. I appreciate all the support throughout the years. These are the things I truly value in life, and I'm grateful content creation made it possible. Oh, and I'm not sure what breed she is. She's mixed, born on the streets of Puerto Rico, now living in New York. Crazy journey she's been on, and she's only 6 months old.

@FreshOnDesk If the sunburn is bad, Jack, and you have a bathtub, fill the tub, drop in 20 tea bags let it steep and cool, then soak in it. The tannic acid of the tea neutralizes the sunburn sting and eases the skin. Old lifeguard trick. Plus, the tea will also give your bod a tannish hint
