SLOW SLOW, QUICK QUICK I'm a huge fan of military strategy. In fact, one of my favorite books is The 33 Strategies of War by writer extraordinaire Robert Greene. One powerful war strategy that was discussed in that military classic is the "Slow Slow, Quick Quick" approach which I believe can give insights into how we operate at #Floki. Genghis Khan, who likely needs no introduction due to being one of the greatest generals and military strategists to ever live and who was known for capturing and ruling over the largest contiguous land empire in history, was used as a major example in the book due to his penchant for this approach. I don't want to bore you with the details (you can get the book if you like; it's a great read as is anything written by Robert Greene), but I would like to distill the essence of of the "slow slow, quick quick" approach as it is generally used by Genghis Khan: - Slow: Plans and preparations are made, carefully and extensively. - Slow: A level of deception is employed to show weakness and make the enemy significantly underestimate one's capabilities ("nothing is happening for them"). - Quick: Using a quick manoeuvre the enemy is drawn to the general's intended spot, while the general's real intentions are being masked. - Quick: The general deals a quick and decisive blow on the enemy without allowing them time to react. Of course, the above is an oversimplification of the "slow slow, quick quick" approach but it gives a faint idea of the essence of this strategy in war. Keen observers would note that #Floki operates in a similar way: while I see a lot of moonbois (and girls!) ask "what's happening???" every once in a while, and I do empathize with them, it is important to note that we are very intentional with what we do at #Floki and are unbothered by short term market movements. Instead, we take the "slow slow, quick quick" approach where things are carefully strategized, planned, and executed over what appears to be a "long" period of time to some (slow slow) before #Floki then all of a sudden becomes the buzz due to these efforts materializing and people wondering exactly what the "catalyst" was (quick quick). A good example of this was the apparent "muted action" for the project through the bear only for #Floki to literally explode to becoming the talk of town early this year while competitors remained obsolete. Now think about this playing out on a long time horizon. If we zoom in on this year for example, the last six months have been mostly "slow slow" for $FLOKI; ideating, fleshing out our roadmap, communicating, forging partnerships, strategically getting listed on exchanges, getting institutional partnerships, etc. However, while being careful about speaking in absolutes, I want to say it won't be long before we get in the "quick quick" part and then all of the moonbois will come out from their holes to ask "what happened?". We released a recent roadmap upgrade that highlighted the following: - MAJOR FlokiFi Locker upgrade real soon. - Staking soon. - Major DeFi integration soon. - Project TL soon. - Valhalla mainnet (and Chinese version) this year. Just to name a few... These are things we've been quietly working on, building, and testing aggressively in the background for a while now. To the outsiders it often seems as if nothing is happening, but oh boy are our devs and QA team so busy right now! In addition to this, the Floki marketing team led by the legendary @SabreEthereum has been on overdrive as seen through all the strategic moves that have been made this year. Let me remind you of a few of these marketing moves: 1. Can you tell me about any other crypto project that has been featured on China's largest sports TV channel CCTV-5 this year? Over 200 million people reached based on some estimates. 2. How about exposure to 650 million households in Asia due to the Badminton Asia partnership? 3. 700 million people through an Indian cricket partnership? 4. 140 million people through the DEXTools partnership? 5. Partnership and exposure on China's top crypto social media platform #Btok secured and locked down for a year? 6. Partnership with Kings League to capture exposure to tens of millions of people? $FLOKI ticks all of these boxes -- resulting in exposure to billions of people this year alone. I don't know of any other #crypto project with this much visibility right now tbh! My point is: while it seems as if "nothing" is happening, A LOT is happening, and when it gets real exciting all of a sudden I want you to realize that there are no mistakes. We are currently in the "slow slow" period, and the #Floki team hasn't been playing or joking around. The real question is this: will you be there when we get to the "QUICK, QUICK" period? 🤔️️️️️️ Exciting times ahead for the #Floki Vikings!
