@AmarHujan You'd be surprised how this doesn't need to be a joke! Got 4 bleeps from the surgical SHO as advised by her reg for....nausea. Of course I had to explore, it was just that. Nausea.

With so many new doctors starting at once, August is always hard work. But watching FY1s go from nervous med students to capable SHOs over the course of a single year remains one of my favourite parts of the job.

Just spend 6 hours in the back of an ambulance with a family member outside ED. All assessment done in the ambulance, discharged without actually going into ED (apart from RAT) The NHS is in a weird place man

I will never get used to the feeling post nights. The dazed, drunk-like state that hits me like a truck. How people do this with children ill never know.
