There’s a lot of noise around Bill C-9 so let’s clear it up. Bill C-9 is not about taking away your religion. It’s about protecting people from hate, intimidation, and harassment. It targets things like:    •   Blocking access to places of worship    •   Threatening or intimidating people because of who they are    •   Promoting hatred that puts communities at risk Your rights to believe, practice, and express your faith are protected under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. But freedom of expression has limits when it crosses into harm, intimidation, or hate. And let’s be honest some conservatives are trying to frame this as an attack on religion. It’s not. If anything, it does the opposite: 👉 it protects all religions from being targeted by hate from others. We can have both: ✔️ Freedom of religion ✔️ Protection from hate So let’s stop pretending this bill is about silencing faith. It’s about drawing a line where freedom ends and harm begins.

Hey @jamiljivani did your buddy south of the border @JDVance tell you to pull this stunt? Because it doesn’t fly here in Canada the way it would in the US. We have seen the destruction religious extremism has caused down there. Keep this bullshit out of the HOC.

CHLORAMPHENICOL IS BANNED IN THE US BECAUSE IT CAN CAUSE FATAL APLASTIC ANEMIA IN HUMANS BUT DON’T WORRY, THE US HAS INCREASED BEEF IMPORTS FROM ARGENTINA —WITHOUT IMPLEMENTING MANDATORY COUNTRY OF ORIGIN LABELING REQUIREMENTS!
BowTiedMara@BowTiedMara

China 🇨🇳 rejected 22 tons of meat from Argentina 🇦🇷 after finding chloramphenicol, an antibiotic banned for human consumption for 30 years, and suspended exports from one of Argentina's main meatpacking plants.

I NEVER said all Brexit voters were stupid or racist. But Reform voters: If you back Farage AGAIN, when HE ADMITS the last thing he had you vote for made you poorer... You're either stupid enough to believe him AGAIN, or you hate minorities so much you're OK being poorer AGAIN.

Pete Hegseth just removed four decorated Army Colonels from a promotion list they earned through decades of service. Two are Black. Two are women. The Army Secretary called their records “exemplary." Hegseth called it “meritocracy" while overriding him. When you purge the best officers in the world because they don't fit your preferred demographic, you’re not defending the country. You’re betraying the values that define it. nytimes.com/2026/03/27/us/…

Chairman of Ipswich Town, Mark Ashton, has issued a sincere apology after finding out that the club's supporters are not quite as keen on baccy-stained racist gobshites as he is.

Maternity ward in Odesa. Again. The hardest was evacuating newborn twins on ventilators. When Russian Shaheds attacked, doctors moved 33 pregnant women and 19 newborns to safety in a bomb shelter. Then helped put out the fire.

Trump just said Iran hit the USS Gerald R. Ford “from 17 angles” and the crew “had to run to save our lives.” His own Pentagon says it was a laundry room fire. A sitting president publicly contradicting his own DoD during an active war is extraordinary — regardless of which version is true.

The Ipswich Town saga should be a stark warning to this country ahead of 2029… Let that frog faced fucker wrangle his way in and you’re guaranteed to deeply regret it within 48 hours.

This is the latest group of paedophiles jailed in the UK, in Somerset. What do you notice different about these people? Yes. You guessed it. The case was not given 24/7 coverage by the media.

Today brings news that Putin is preparing to send drones and other military equipment to their autocrat allies in Iran to fight Americans, and Rep. Luna decides to give a private Capitol tour to the members of the Putin-loving Duma. Perhaps she showed them a tour of Trump’s bloody J6 insurrection, which Putin, as Trump’s mentor and good friend, regularly tries to whitewash as a friendly ‘stroll’ and a legitimate ‘protest.’ Perhaps she learned from her Russian comrades how to be completely obedient to an authoritarian president. Perhaps they discussed their common opposition to Ukrainian democracy and human rights and the sheer excitement of being on both sides of Trump’s war of chaos in Iran.

Trump: “US always rescues Britain.” 457 Brits died in Afghanistan. 179 in Iraq. British forces are still there today. He dodged the draft. We buried our dead. Don’t lecture us on sacrifice.
