@GuerinSports I was at the Matamata open day 20 November with about a dozen others. At the end I asked trainer Andrew Scott for a winner -he thought for a few seconds and replied to us all, Ohope Wins, she’s a very smart filly.

@HuntRacing What did you think of McNabs ride on Glance? Just had to get out wider on the turn and she would have cleaned them up.

@HuntRacing That will be interesting to see. Last race the first 3 came from the fence so unless something drastic happens see no reason why it would.

@TracksideNZ @HuntRacing Thanks Stephen. Great analysis. The sectionals live on trackside are really helpful too- especially the 200m ones. You have to allow around a second for the opening 400m as it looks as though it is hand triggered.

Thanks to a perfectly rated front running ride by @rorymhutch, Geneva leads all the way. Rated him a $2.20 chance and a well deserved win. Congrats Kylie Hoskins on presenting him so well.

@GuerinSports Really good read. We all strive for work/ life balance, and he had the nous to recognise it had swung too much one way and had the courage to do something about it.
