Thank you for your generous donations for World Mental Health Day. The children looked brilliant with their flashes of yellow! We love being outdoors in Foundation Stage so we went on an Autumn walk around our beautiful school grounds and had a snack and biscuit after the hail!🍂

These 3 children shone brightly this week for their imaginative ideas in our class poem, and our cup of kindness activity. Well done! 🌟

We have loved sharing our amazing Me Boxes! We spoke confidently about our special items and we have learned so much about our friends in class. Well done! 🌟

We’ve been noticing the first few signs of Autumn 🍂

We have been very busy making new friends and exploring all areas of the Early years provision 🍃

Yesterday we began our Little Wandle phonics lessons. We have learned to recognise the ‘s’ grapheme. We practised writing it on whiteboards

We practised travelling around the hall in different ways and balancing beanbags in PE this week. Excellent listening, well done! 🌟

We loved our first PE lesson in the hall! We listened carefully, travelled in different ways around the hall and practised balancing on different body parts. Great work, Class 1! 🌟

⭐️ It was Class 1’s very first Celebrations assembly today and these 2 children have made a brilliant start to school. They have impressed Mrs Wimpenny and Mrs Spittlehouse with their kindness, readiness to learn and a great attitude at tidy up time. Well done! ⭐️

We met our Year 6 buddies and they helped us at lunchtime. They will be brilliant role models for us this year 🌟

We loved making new friends and exploring the indoor and outdoor areas 🌟

Our final new starters joined us today for lots of fun in Foundation Stage 🌟

We loved meeting our Year 6 buddies and bumping into our big brothers and sisters in the lunch hall. Our yummy school dinners gave us lots of energy for playing out in the afternoon! 😁

Playdough, imaginative play, painting and construction were favourites in Class 1 today 🌟

🌟 We welcomed our second set of new starters today, who quickly got involved in exploring our learning environment 🌟

⭐️A super settled morning for our group 2! Lots of busy bees in the classroom 🐝 ⭐️

We showed the grown ups how brilliantly we can write our letters, names and numbers. Well done! 🌟

We loved our yummy school dinners and meeting our Year 6 buddies for the first time 🌟

What a lovely day we have had in Class 1! The children have been very busy exploring the classroom and enjoyed singing assembly in the hall 🌟
