Memphis producer Tay Keith has passed away at the age of 29. News of Tay Keith's death began circulating on social media on Thursday (June 18), with several rappers reacting to the reports in disbelief. Tay's death was later confirmed. According to local Tennessee news station WSMV 4, the beat maker, born Brytavious Chambers, was found dead in his Nashville, Tenn., apartment. No foul play is suspected by police, who found Tay's body during a welfare check. His cause of death has not been released. Tay Keith was preceded in death by his mom, who passed away in 2021 following a battle with cancer.
