Our clients deserve confident attorneys who aren’t burnt out from the challenges of zealously advocating for them. They deserve attorneys who believe in the legal system, procedures, and their knowledge of the law. There is a reason why we have a high bar of professional conduct with severe personal consequences. It is inevitable, if you practice long enough, that we will stumble from time to time. Attorneys having professional concerns about themselves ensure that we still uphold the MINIMUM obligations to our clients even when we’re not at our best
