Victor Osimhen is a very good striker, tough in aerial duels, with strong physicality. However, I feel a Barça-coded striker should be a ball-playing one—a striker who isn’t static, because a static striker can be easily neutralised by tough defenders, as Haaland has been toothless for Manchester City in all the cup finals he has played. If we want a fluid, free-flowing attack, then I think Álvarez should be our go-to guy.

He will win duels in the air, he will perform excellently in zonal setups, but the moment you isolate him he will likely foul the player than win that 1v1 cleanly.
Bastoni will be a clear improvement in our box defending but he won't solve the way we concede most of our goals.
