@LaraPerson We don’t have gated townhome communities here but the neighborhood is rather safe.

@fyberjack I love townhomes, I think they are very comfortable and well organized and usually in gated communities so very safe. If you can get it for cheaper than what you pay currently it's a plus imo.

For a 43yo divorced man, 8yo kid 50/50, single family home or a townhome with $1,000 cheaper monthly mortgage?
