@gwilymeades @PyllonUltra Personally I would suggest runnable trail or tarmac so the terrain doesn't limit the intensity you run at. There is a place for practicing running fast on technical trail though.

Finding comfortable & trusty footwear can be challenging. For hills we need a tight enough fit to stop our feet slopping about & creating hot spots while also having space to splay our toes. And good grip is essential to help us fly down hills. What trainer works for you?

@stevemagness Ha, had the same experience with Garmin 945. Told me our 1st unbroken night's sleep since baby was poor quality. It wasn't it was fucking glorious.

We had our first full night of sleep in 4+ months since our baby was born. It feels amazing. The sleep tracker's rating of our sleep: Poor. It rated many nights where we woke every 1-2 hours better. Don't over index on some algorithms score.

Pyllon Ultra coach, Grant (@g_macd), shares his favourite training session with us. He's all about the hill reps/flat tempo combo. Eg 8x1min hills into 15-20min tempo. Pre fatiguing the legs in the hills makes the tempo much more challenging. What's your favourite session?
