Went to register a SIM today, and what happened honestly got me thinking. After the first process, he captured my face, and I assumed everything was done. Next thing, he said the registration didn’t go through because the network was bad. Since I wasn’t paying too much attention at first, we started the process all over again. This time, I noticed he picked up another SIM entirely, not the one we had registered earlier. That was when it hit me… he had registered two different SIMs. This is exactly how people get implicated in things they know nothing about. I made sure I collected both SIMs, even though he kept denying it. I’m very sure of what I saw. In the next 24 hours, I’ll find out if both were activated. Please, whenever you’re registering a SIM, pay close attention. Don’t assume anything. Watch every step.

Your total portfolio only drops 10%. You need just 11% to recover. That could happen in weeks. Same money. Same bad stock. Completely different outcome. Diversification does not prevent losses. The @ngxgrp @CSCSNigeria should make dividends automatic. The moment you buy a stock, your details should already be linked. No registrar stress. No extra process. Dividends should go straight into your brokerage account, not your bank. That way, investors can easily reinvest and grow their money. This will reduce unclaimed dividends and build trust in the market. If NGX truly wants reform, this is where it should start.

@YoriOlajide This guys. Their registrar was Crediting a friend dividends to a wrong account from 2018. the account didn't exist if you try to credit it. At one point, they had even sent a mail notice of failed dividend payout . After the screenshots and reply, they haven't responded lol.

My friend’s dad took him to the U.S. in 2016. Before that, the man had left in 2004, so their father–son relationship wasn’t really there. When he got there, his dad expected him to behave like he was still in Nigeria. He wanted to make all the decisions for him, when to wake up, what course to study in college, and even who he was allowed to talk to back home, without any questions. Anytime my friend questioned those decisions, his dad would threaten to send him back to Nigeria, and my friend would keep quiet. It started to affect his mental health, and what made it worse was that he had no friends or family to talk to about it, just me, all the way in Africa, unable to do anything. One day, his dad saw him talking to a girl in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, he was just trying to make friends. When he got home, his dad told him that if he got into trouble or got a girl pregnant, he would send him back to Nigeria. That was when he snapped. He went to bring out all his luggage and told his dad to book a ticket for him to go back. His dad was really shocked and that was the last day he ever threatened to send him back.
