Recommended to me by my grandmother. Such a wholesome book that restores faith in humanity. The world-building that Levi is impressively immersive. Themes branch from aesthetics to moral responsibility with deep insight.

A big problem with this program is this is being largely celebrated by fans. This should be outrage inducing - BC just went 2-10 and the solution is hiring an assistant from a bottom tier SEC program & hypothetical fundraising match that hasn't been sniffed in university history

Counter-counterpoint... you can't use infinite math (Gödel/Chaitin/Tarski) to prove a physically finite system (Quantum Gravity) is uncomputable. The paper's core argument seems to be mathematically inconsistent with the holographic principle.

@IskandarKaizer Gödel/Chaitin rely on Universal Turing Machines, which necessitate infinite memory, but doesn't the Bekenstein Bound show that the universe has finite entropy? You can't use infinite math to prove finitude is uncomputable. The core premise seems mathematically inconsistent.

Using beat reporters for the AP poll makes no sense.
These guys/gals work their tails off covering one specific team, and on a game day they often don't watch any football except the school they're covering. It's not a knock on those individuals, they're great people doing a great job, but they're often not watching enough football to get a holistic view of CFB.
I would love to see a poll made up of national analysts who can watch 10+ games per week.
