@crewealexfc Great goal, created good chances and could quite easily have got 3 points. We’ve had luck in other games. The lads should be pleased with their effort and another point added to our tally.
🤩 @kpirecruitinguk have planned a host of exciting surprises for tomorrow's season opener!

@P_J_McGrath With CBR fit we would be sat half way, unfortunately our squad depth means a couple of injuries can make a big difference. I’m sure we will get enough to avoid the drop. Big summer then
early start for our committee, staff and supporters today,we are on the coach now heading to Manchester Airport 🛩 to @FCIsleOfMan last league game of the season, lets make it a good one.
🚌🛩⚽️🍻🧡
@awbrink@trfcste@nwcfl@BurscoughFC1946 Yea I don’t disagree it’s a hard one, I’m not anti Macc I just think in my view other clubs would have had a better season with more to play for without Macc….and for Macc they obvs don’t belong that low down, with much better facilities, support and budget
MACCLESFIELD ARE PREMIER DIVISION CHAMPIONS!
A 4-0 win for the Silkmen over Ashton Athletic in front of a NWCFL record crowd of 4,604 ensures that they will finish as Premier Division Champions.
Congratulations to everyone at Macclesfield.
What a great event @alportfc v @nptfc was yesterday. Staged perfectly by the volunteers, played with great spirit and to have over 1000 spectators unsegregated (plenty of which had drank their body weight in beer) with no trouble is exactly how non league football should be ⚽️🍺
@trfcste@awbrink@nwcfl@BurscoughFC1946 So they should have started at the bottom then? Why start them in the premier league rather than the first division
@FootieRealist@awbrink@nwcfl@BurscoughFC1946 Yea it’s a fair view. I only comment from a view point if I was still a chairman of a club in the same league which I’m not now. I would have defo reduced our ambition in that season and therefore budget etc…
@awbrink@nwcfl@BurscoughFC1946 I agree it’s prob no a win situation. I’m not against Mac. I just think that Mac were prob odds on to win the league so if I were the chairman of another club I would have looked at it as though there was one promotion spot taken. Whilst acknowledging fans/money is no guarantee
@goingupgoingup@nwcfl@BurscoughFC1946 There were numerous people saying it was unfair we weren’t put in the bottom step from the start so really can’t win!
@awbrink@nwcfl@BurscoughFC1946 I think higher, but it’s obvs only an opinion and then obvs it has promotion/relegation effects up and below but I think with some there is an obvious advantage
