@BBCNews @BBCNews is there any need to comment on what she looks like pre/post court proceedings?? She was in the most privileged of positions playing a pivotal role in caring for vulnerable babies & families- a role in which she abused to commit horrendous crimes.

Lucy Letby was found guilty of murdering seven babies on the neonatal unit where she worked and attempting to murder another six The jury was undecided on the attempted murder of a further four babies She was found not guilty of two counts of attempted murder

WE DID IT!! 🎉🎉🎉 We are thrilled that the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Bill reached royal assent today! Around 60,000 parents annually will benefit from up to 12 weeks’ leave and pay when their babies are born needing neonatal care.

@SarraHoy I also think it’s an appreciation that parents of preemies will come with more anxieties surrounding education & social development. I have felt listened to and that goes a long way. Raising awareness is so important 🙂

@goodallvic Hey thanks for replying- I’m interested as I’m speaking to schools about supporting kids born preterm. Reassurance and empathy is a key concept i think.
