I used to have an NYC friend who liked to pick my brain about her dating life. Good luck to you." Eventually, I learned she had a short list of Tik Tok influencers who were filling her head with all these dating rules every day. Total nonsense. Completely anti-social and neurotic. Playing every single insecurity she had and convincing her to self-sabotage at every turn. But she was completely beholden to them. They owned her mind and directed her moves. It is difficult to overstate how unhealthy Tik Tok is for young women. It's like a diet of McDonald's every day for the brian. If I could commission one study it would be: -Life outcomes for women who never used Tik Tok or Instagram vs. -Life outcomes for those who were active uses in their formative years I bet the differences would be striking.
