@Mandoline79 It's a thing. They are old sensors that are used to sense emergency vehicles. Flashing lights trigger the light in an attempt to make it safe for the emergency vehicle to pass through. They aren't common anymore but still in place in many locations that haven't been updated.

Was sitting at a red light and it was taking forever to change, then this truck pulls up in the lane next to me and flashes his lights... Then the light changed. Um, what? Is this an actual thing? #mindblown

@TheJenRollins It's really just a series of guessing based on reactions. Then they have very little they can do other than offer an epi pen. It's sad how many suffer and how little awareness and solutions exist.

@TheJenRollins After 20 years of specialist after specialist and no answers, the general theme is that medicine knows very little about the immune system other than its basic mechanics. There is also VERY little funding dedicated to trying to find out why it does what it does.

Last night I had an allergic reaction so bad my oldest kiddo had to lay in bed with me to make sure my throat didn’t close up. I was fine after a couple of hours but I hate not knowing why this is happening and not having a GP to help.
