WALK-OFF GRAND SALAMI! Whitman rallied from down 4-0 in the 8th to sweep Saturday’s doubleheader on a walk-off grand slam by @NatePetz. Their second walk-off win of the day. Trailing 4-0 in the 8th, the Blues got on the board with a @HalenOtte5150 sac fly and an RBI single from Nick Teng. In the ninth, @LMalzewski brought home a run on a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch. Four pitches later, @NatePetz crushed the walk-off grand slam to complete the sweep. @OBrown907 started and went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) with 4 strikeouts. @JackFinn51 picked up the win in relief, tossing 3.1 innings while allowing 1 run and punching out 6. @gowhitman

Jonah Chang (@JonahChang9) hit a solo homer — his 4th of the season — to cap a three-run inning, then delivered the walk-off single in the 11th as @gowhitman won a wild 10-9 game in 11 innings.

Whitman took a wild 10-9 win over Willamette in 11 innings in the series opener. Trailing 6-4 in the ninth, @HalenOtte5150 tied the game with a 2-run single (he also hit a 2-run homer in the 4th). After Willamette scored three runs in the top of the 11th, a run-scoring error and an RBI double from @sam19416 set up @JonahChang9 — who also homered earlier — for the walk-off single. @russellpete_ started and went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 earned runs while striking out 6. @gowhitman
