BREAKING: The LNP have announced they will oppose our plan to drive down the price of fuel.

But all Australians benefit from greater accessibility and I want to recognise the great work the reference group have done.

I especially want to thank Kevin Cocks AM GAICD and all of the members of the QR Accessibility Reference Group for their work in delivering these trains. The work of these reference groups often goes unnoticed by those unaffected by disability.

In 2014, the LNP signed off on 75 new trains that were not disability compliant, and they built them overseas. Today we celebrated the last of the 75 NGRs being upgraded. They now exceed accessibility compliance so they can offer equitable service to all passengers.

Young people take and experiment with drugs. There is no use pretending that they do not. This is about safety and prevention. If we can save one life this is worthwhile. The LNP would take away this service and put more young people at risk.

We are bringing a confidential and free pill-testing service to Schoolies at Surfers Paradise. The LNP have said they do not not support pill testing and will scrap it if elected to government. That is the difference between us and them.
