@kmb42600 Yes!! I liked how she mentioned that when adding new features, the team has to think about so many factors like longevity, interaction with the game's existing ecosystems, balance etc., things that I don't think every player considers when critiquing the game and its developers.
English

@graeeyeets Fully agree!! And people are so quick to criticize the devs for not doing something that is seemingly obvious but Minecraft devs see literally everything and have their reasons for each change they make.

I've been watching these, and one thing I can't help but notice is how truly excited and passionate Agnes is about minecraft. I love hearing her talk about the game, you can tell how much she loves and cares about it!

LadyAgnes has been doing a bunch of interviews with Minecraft creators about the Tiny Takeover drop! They are very fun to watch, here are the ones I've found so far:

@TQueimafo Oooh! I love the water motifs! This might be my favorite fandesign for a dripstone blockset that I've seen so far
English

Dripstone!
Its a blockset that i rlly like and it has kind of a water theme to it, so the pillars have this kind of "cascading" theme to it and another block type it posseses are tiles bacause they are on roofs and accumulate water

I started playing when I was 8 and I'll turn 22 later this year. I think the only thing that'll stop me at this point would be me literally dying😭

do u guys think in like 6 years time you’ll still be playing this stupid game (mc)
English

@_sezeri I voted for your design! It's super cute and I really liked the bright colors. With this year's themes of metamorphosis, this one stood out to me because it reminds me of the first sunny day after a cold, cloudy winter when you know spring will come soon enough. ✨️

Totally forgot to post the other angles of this. Genuinely one of my favorite builds that I've done.

Happy Spring Equinox! I'm excited for all the flowers that bloom in spring, so in the spirit of the season, here's the garden center in my forever world! #minecraft
English

@SpectralQuill @ltz_NEXX Yeah totally, I really just want an autumnal biome so I'd be happy with anything they decide on lmao
English

@graeeyeets @ltz_NEXX Altrnatvly if we rlly can't think of a unique enough color, Id be ok with a "red/yellow/etc birch sapling" wer the diff is just the leaves growing up. Similar to azaleas just having oak wood. That way diff color trees can exist in the same biome and u know wer to get each sapling
English

@mintsoir Tbh a lot of so-called wikislop games are like that because community interaction is a significant part of their identity. Like, learning niche stuff from other players is part of the fun!! Learning weird minecraft features from youtube letsplays was one of my parts of the game!
English

this but unironically. wiki games are the greatest thing that video games have to offer and im NOT kidding.

@ltz_NEXX @SpectralQuill Yeah! Honestly I would love a wood with the reddish colors that noteblocks have since iirc theres not really any blocks with those colors. Wouldn't be exactly accurate to maple but then again cherry wood isn't actually pink so...🤔
English

@graeeyeets @SpectralQuill Could be good to blend cherry and mangrove though!
English

@SpectralQuill Irl maple wood is actually really light and not very red, like birch/cherry light in terms of preexisting Minecraft planks. Idk if that increases or decreases the likelihood of it being added though, since there are already a decent few lighter blocks in that color range😔
English

@ltz_NEXX @gaspoweredpick @RealmNews247 @MintRefresh_MC Ikr. An autumn forest for a fall drop is someth I've been hoping since last yr. I just won't expect much of it cuz mangrove already covers reddish color which could've been maple. But at this point I don't care if the biome just has a reddening effect on leaves.
English

@themichaeltbh I remember back when spring to life was first being teased and people were theorizing that the hints meant they'd add seasons, which I never understood because seasonal themed biomes like this would fit so much better in vanilla Minecraft imo. I would kill for an autumn biome...
English

this would be such a simple but great drop in my opinion, good way to work around seasons too

Day ONE of asking for drop 3 to add autumn forests to vanilla 🍂🍁
English

@NovaWostra I build a lot of brick city buildings, so for me I'm really excited for cinnabar because another reddish brick set will hopefully give me more color variety between similarly shaped builds ^^
