It's wild that he doesn't hear how racist he sounds - the brown noble savage cannot control themselves, it is "inevitable." He may as well lean full in and apply his logic to gendered violence, "with hookup culture & women wearing short skirts, blowback was inevitable."
It is fascinating how these types of self-righteous bigots - who believe themselves to be the exclusively enlightened, qualified judges for assessing morality on a global scale - arbitrarily dismiss the concept of free will altogether for select groups based on "identity," depicting all of their actions merely as **reactions,** while assigning to other groups the total scope of power over both their own lives and others.
It is not that these pretenders to the claim of "scholar" - or otherwise the ideologically nepotistic beneficiaries of the usurpation of academia, like Dave Andreas of @portsmouthuni - don't believe in free will and are solely nihilistic determinists. The scholarly pretenders believe in an allocation of Will where some groups are seen always as "unnatural" and interlopers, the "doers" or agents whose actions interrupt an imagined past homeostasis and transform the natural order into an altered and discontent state. To the pretenders - the self-designated moral seers and judges who weaponize credentialism and have rotted academia - other groups, usually based on the perceived depth of difference from the subject of the judge to the object of the studied savage - are not allocated the Will to affect change, and exist entirely constricted by the choices and beliefs of others - even if those others are thousands of miles away and their only connection to the object of the Savage and his emotions is largely symbolic and not actually affectual.
The Noble Savage and others of those groups whose actions are supposedly constricted by the freely Willed behaviors of others are then treated as basically pure vectors of emotion. Worse, the fake scholar does not grant the Noble Savage nor related "disempowered" groups a full human range of emotion, nor their own context in which for that emotion to develop - instead, they see the Noble Savage's emotions as existing solely as a sort of foil to the pretender's imagination of the "West" and the function of the scholar's formula of the West, which in the scholar's calculus, leads solely to the output of "injustice." Within this axiomatic system of the "West" existing as a formula that outputs "injustice" and the emotion and behavior of the Noble Savage as a function of the Western formula, the scholar limits the humanity of the Savage. The human reduced to an (anti)Western functionary is seen as emotionally constricted, as operating on singleminded oppositional defiance to those perceived as their world-shapers, with zero consideration given to the local: family, local culture, social dynamics, local power structures, individual differences in psyche and desire, or even other "world shapers" like China, Russia, Iran, etc, who are either entirely deleted from the narrative or, if acknowledgment is forced, handwaved away with a grab bag of pre-scripted thought-terminating cliches, such as excusing other influential powers as only also harming the Noble Savage due to the "real power" of the West forcing their hand in some way, or other excuses of a Will hierarchy.
And where is it that these self-designated judges of 'Will' locate the "real power," the largely unencumbered and sovereign Will that shapes the parameters of the world while constricting the choices and producing the emotions of others? Well, if we determine where the judge thinks power lies by where they think blowback is "inevitable," then they locate the chief node of power in the Jew.
Then these scholarly pretenders and self-designated moral judges will claim they are not antisemitic, just "antizionist," or, "just criticizing Israel," the latter of which is just the broader left-wing's version of the far-right's "just noticing."
