@paulca yeah, I think protected bike lanes in the sense that they share the road but are not just paint (or, alternatively, are slightly elevated as in CPH) are the way to go. Here's the issues with the "old" german model:

@mitsuhiko I can totally see how that happens. Just proximity for one, but also just a completely different horizon of experience. I myself I am oscillating between "He won't risk that, will he?" and "OMG, we're all going to die in a big ball of flame" and I wish I was joking.

I sense a *huge* difference in level of concern (or rather panic) between my Eastern European and Western European or American friends at the moment. I'm not sure what my takeaway is here …

@Catrinmsj I'm still owing you a reply on this. I am very very happy with the grinder - My espresso shots have become much more consistent. I did make some modifications I am happy to share but it's stock without replacement burrs, if that helps. Hope this isn't too late :)

@amrAbdelwahab Did you get a red status in the App? You might want to follow that up with an actual PCR test. Those laminar flow tests are super inaccurate especially when you're vaccinated. Better safe than sorry. PCR test is free if the App is red.

@phoet Let's leave it at that. Ich glaube nicht, dass Du meine ursprüngliche Kritik, in der es mir eher um das zu eigen machen dieser sehr dummen "ABER DER SPRITPREIS" Argumente ging als um die genaue und gerechte Ausgestaltung von CO2-Preisen, verstanden hast, ist aber egal.

@phoet Ohne andere flankierende Maßnahmen mag das so sein, aber diese berühmten 16 ct existieren doch wie gesagt nicht im luftleeren Raum sondern als Teil einer ganzen Reihe von Maßnahmen. Den Benzinpreis künstlich tief halten hilft nur halt niemandem.
