@hallocopen_gr Japan needs something like our Second Amendment!
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

@hallocopen_gr Some states have more strict requirements, like Rhode Island where you need to pass a written test to get Blue Card, which is needed to buy handguns. Kind of unconstitutional... but it's a common sense, relatively easy test.

@hallocopen_gr Depending on the state, you show up with a government Id., sign some paperwork, then buy it. Typically you just need to be a resident of a state, not even a citizen.

@hallocopen_gr We love Japan. Would like to have a similar immigration model to your country

@herbalismguide1 The Japanese Empire ceased to be an empire and became the country of Japan😊
Japan today wants to become friends with countries all over the world😁
English

@hallocopen_gr I Love Japan. We made this tower in Vancouver Canada during WW2 to spot Japanese Subs and Landing crafts. There is a bunker behind the trees to retreat to. I trust you wont leak this strategic information. Bless.

English

@hallocopen_gr The general US feeling towards Japan is friendly and favorable. There are many Japan-US sister cities. I'm happy to meet you virtually!
English

@RdrOAWhiteHorse I agree.
However, the police and authorities raised objections to the hunter, leading to a lawsuit.
Ultimately, his license was revoked, but the Supreme Court ruled the revocation invalid, and his license was returned.

@hallocopen_gr Japan has bears and boars. I expect that it takes a lot of skill to beat either with a sword before it hurts you.
English

@BrycePeters20 I'm sorry, but I haven't seen the movie "The Last Samurai" yet. 😅
English

@hallocopen_gr It paints Japanese people and its culture as honorable, noble, peaceful yet capable. And extremely loyal.

@hallocopen_gr I have brought people from France, UK, Philippines and Ireland to the gun range in Florida. It seems to be the first place they want to go. These are the two I always have with me. 9mm and a .45ACP.

English

@relativityRZN When I was in the Self-Defense Forces, I had the opportunity to shoot a SIG Sauer P220, but
I was completely hopeless; I couldn't hit the target even once! 😂
English

@hallocopen_gr It’s only a 9mm, I’ve seen a couple air soft guys come over from Japan and be absolutely dead on quick and accurate shots in uspsa settings

Because Japanese democracy is not as mature as American democracy,
Japanese toy gun enthusiasts are viewed with prejudice.
Despite toy guns being legally permitted, it's seen as an underground hobby enjoyed secretly and out of public view.
I also think there are differences in thinking between Japan and the United States.
English

@hallocopen_gr It's not my place to do anything but support legal efforts in a foreign country.
In America, I would encourage people to violate unconstitutional laws, as our constitution is intended to be the supreme law.
Thus, unconstitutional laws are void.

@FlodriaMan In Japan, illegally manufactured guns are also illegal.
There is a strict gun control law called the Firearms and Swords Control Law.
English

This question is for those living in the United States.
How can I buy a handgun in the United States?
In Japan, only toy guns are available.
You can buy inexpensive toy guns at discount stores.
You can buy slightly more expensive ones at specialty toy gun stores.
Since they are toys, no special qualifications are required to purchase them.🤔
English

@Ribdr0 To make Japan a gun-owning society, the Firearms and Swords Control Law would need to be drastically changed.
Furthermore, the process of changing that law is complex and confusing.
The police sometimes even seize toy handguns.
English

@hallocopen_gr Enjoy your toy guns. We will support you seeking to change your laws and getting real guns, if you so desire.
English

@AlphaDeity1 There are many anti-Japanese countries in Asia.
(Especially China and South Korea)
The United States is across the Pacific, so even though it's an ally, we don't know much about the national character of its people. 😅
English

@hallocopen_gr I’m actually shocked that you thought otherwise. Why?

In Japan, it's difficult to own a real gun, so people spend their money on airsoft guns and model guns.
In the case of handguns, Japan completely prohibits civilians from owning handguns,
so, the only way to possess a handgun is through a toy gun.
That's why America is a gun society,
and Japan is a toy gun society. 🤭
English

@_Wraithborne_ If it's a revolver, I'm torn between the S&W Model 29 and the Model 10.
If it's an automatic, then it's the Colt M1911A1. 😁
English

@hallocopen_gr Do you have a favorite model gun that you work with?
