kaya hindi ko gets yung mga nagsasabi na "kung may permit naman ang research, anong ikakatakot mo sa militar????" mind you, practicums held by UP are coordinated with LGUs yet the students are still being intimidated by the military one way or another 🤷♀️

In UP Manila’s schools of health sciences, midwifery students had to pull out from the communities kahit part ng curriculum nila ang practicum. The sole reason ay dahil iniintimidate sila ng mga local officials and military sa area just because they’re from UP.

my iska friends told me that if they had the privilege to choose dlsu/admu/ust or prestigious universities, they would—kasi mas makakahinga sila. pero they don't have that choice. UP and state universities were built to accomodate students who can't afford those,
