I have just read #TheWitch by Marie Ndiaye. A mesmerising portrayal of a woman's life falling apart and the powers she possesses. Unlike anything else I have ever reads. I read this in one sitting. A well-written, intrguing and compelling book that takes old stories and makes something fresh and original. Shortlisted for the International Booker Prize 2026.
