Even the cost of essential medicines to keep her stable has become unbearable. Her father, Sayanta De Sarkar, lovingly calls her “Rai” because she was born on the same day as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Today, that father has only one wish — to see his daughter recover, return to life, and once again cheer loudly for her favourite team.
