Telangana launches one of India's biggest state-level road upgradation programmes. From Nalgonda, CM Revanth Reddy inaugurated ₹13,000 crore worth of Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) road projects covering nearly 6,300 km across 34 packages. Under HAM, the government funds 40% during construction while contractors invest the remaining 60%. No toll will be imposed, contractors must maintain the roads for 15 years, and all projects are targeted for completion within two years. The focus shifts from merely building roads to ensuring long-term quality and accountability—boosting rural connectivity, agriculture, industry, healthcare access, and safer travel across Telangana.
