What an awesome tool! You all might think: wow, but there are minting tools out there..... BUT: This is different: it uses Plutus smart contracts to allow a cap for maximum supply and not the old “time-lock” mechanism, also allowing better burn control!

@IOHK_Charles A great opportunity here lies in the option to let the delegators vote on what they find most important within each challenge, and the dRep then sorts all proposals according to A) quality and B) the weights of his / her delegators. This is huge.

If we can establish dReps with reputation for voting thoughtfully, possibly helping promising projects that are not very strong in PR, it can make a big difference towards allocating funds. I will always vote for projects that help people or grow the ecosystem.

I just applied to become a dRep. There is nothing more important than the decision where funding goes to. It defines which topics are discussed and worked on. It defines where value is created. It defines how people think about Cardano. DReps can have a huge impact.

@mendimelon Wow, thanks a lot, this really means a lot to me and my mission! I think with this we have a basis for getting more delegators and to hopefully soon have enough to regularly mint blocks and do first donations!

@mendimelon Also we are in the State of trying to get organizations convinced to set up their own Cardano address. Until that we can a) simply donate to to the Ukraine ministry, as they have an address, or b) convert the assets and donate fiat or other currencies to humanitarian projects...

@mendimelon Yes, it is quite tough to start a pool, but we are trying. We have already put all our ADA into the pools pledge haha. And yes, everything above the running costs (so all profits) will be donated! Once the first block is minted we will publish the transaction!
