I made it very clear I DONT hate him but I think his review was dumb as hell and he’s irresponsible with his platform sometimes

Not wanting to get into stan wars at all but Fantano’s great impersonator review was so out of touch But the worst part is him doubling down on where he was objectively wrong to get back at Taylor fans and bringing more hate on Halsey for no reason

i will never understand why the halsey review is that big of a deal. Just because there was an attempt to portray some serious stuff doesn't mean it was good.
fantano is annoying sometimes but i don't get why his criticism of stuff gets people so crazy

@theneedledrop you never pretended it was good. And an artist is allowed to have an ego on their album about themselves. It doesn’t make the music bad and you of all people know that. Criticize it for things it deserves to be criticized for. Have some damn self-respect you’re better than this

nobody has to agree, but acting like i’m the most evil person alive over disliking an album is a performance in stupidity.

I didn’t really agree with how Fantano approached some aspects of his Halsey review but I can’t understand how there’s still discourse about it all this time later It’s not like it’s some great album… how are people still hung up over it😭

But then he also called it Main Character Syndrome when she was talking about her health struggles

This doesn’t mean I think he’s evil or a misogynist or anything. But it’s so disrespectful to lobby more attacks at a woman who did nothing wrong because you misunderstood her record. You DONT HAVE TO LIKE THE MUSIC. But he completely missed what the album was so obviously (1/2)
