ከ3 ሳምንት በፊት ለFull Tank gas የምከፍለው $26.90 ነበር፣ዛሬ $40 ከፈልኩ። የሚያሳስበኝ የኔ አይደለም፣እኔ የምሄድበትን ቦታ በመቀነስ ወጪዬን መቀነስ እችላለሁ፣ደሞም መኪናዬ Hybrid ስለሆነ ብዙ አያሳስበኝም። አሜሪካ የነዳጅ ዋጋ ጨመረ እንጂ የነዳጅ እጥረት ብሎ ነገር የለም። አገር ቤት የሚኖረው ወገኔ ግን ምን እየሆነ ይሁን? ኢትዮጵያ ከፍተኛ የነዳጅ እጥረት አለ በሱ ላይ የነዳጅ ዋጋ የሚቀመስ አይደለም። አሜሪካ እኔ ነዳጅ የምገዛበት ቦታ አንድ ሊትር ነዳጅ $1.06 ነው፣ ኢትዮጵያ አንድ ሊትር ነዳጅ $ 0.91 ነው። ኢትዮጵያ 20 ሊትር ለመሙላት $18.2 ያስፈልጋል፣ አሜሪካ 20 ሊትር ለመሙላት $21.2 ያስፈልጋል። አሜሪካ $21.2 ማለት minimum wage ለሚያገኝ ሰው የሶስት ሰአት ገቢ ነው። ኢትዮጵያ $18.2 ማለት 2,835 ብር ማለት ነው which means ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ በወር 20 ሺ ብር የሚያገኝ ሰው መኪና ካለው በወር ከአንድ ግዜ በላይ 20 ሊትር ነዳጅ መግዛት አይችልም። በወር 20 ሺ ብር የሚያገኙ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ቁጥር ደሞ ከጠቅላላው ህዝብ ከ3% አይበልጡም።
