There's this beautiful serenity in the practice rink, with the last group of women refining their free skates before the actual event tomorrow, and when Kaori goes through her program, and Je ne regrette rien fills the arena, tears stubbornly say: We want out, let us out.

And you cry watching that free skate, watching Kaori for almost the very last time, and you're happy. Happy for what she has given us, for the wonderful skater, human and sunbeam she is. Just let us stay in this rink, in this moment forever.

This. This has been chef's kiss from Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin at #WorldFigure, stars falling on them at the end of that stunning short program in Prague.

And that's how you skate a Bolero short program at #WorldFigure, like Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava just did in Prague. Their trademark opening signaled the crowd: this was going to be great.

There was some fighting going on, quite literally, in Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov's short program at #WorldFigure. #clockanddagger works so well for them.

If you're being picky for this and that, remember this season was incredibly long and, because of that incredibly tiring.  That being said, Maria Pavlova and Alexei Sviatchenko's skating is so beautiful to watch.

Higher than the jumbotron is not a figure of speech. It's us, in the #medianest - and we're starting to get used to the nest 😃.

We think it's fair to say that Chinese pairs skating is on very good hands with Jiaxuan Zhang and Yihang Huang. And they picked champion-music and they do it justice. #Nemesis

And you know who else was celebrated today? #AmberGlenn - and her humanity-beyond-skating. #skatingsisterhood

This wave of love, support, appreciation surrounded #KaoriSakamoto like a mantle during her last competitive short program - people brought banners, flags, handkerchiefs for one of skating's greats. It felt like a celebration of skating.
