Palestinian 🇵🇸 children and family walking amongst rubble, being starved and ethnically cleansed by Israel 🇮🇱 Heart breaking scenes reminiscent of the holocaust in Europe in the 1940’s. Your eyes do not lie. We are witness to fascists committing genocide. This is Zionism.

Starmer announces nothing new on climate change taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/11/1… Starmer went to Azerbaijan yesterday to say precisely nothing new or useful about the UK’s policy on climate change. So very Labour.

The BBC called out for covering up the story about the corruption in the royal family. Viewers complained &asked What was more important than reporting that King Charles and Prince William are “ scamming nhs and charities ”.Just imagine if this was Harry &Meghan? #Dispatches

We’re told there is unlimited money for weapons and warfare, so can’t we find the money to end poverty, build social housing or save the future of our planet?

To pretend that people hate left-wing politics when neither Labour or the Democrats can be described as such is absurd taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/11/1… The GuardIan pretends that Labour is left wing and then equates people’s reasonable dislike for them with distaste for left-wing politics. But that’s absurd. Labour is to the right of Cameron’s Tories. They’re not in the slightest bit left-wing.

1. Here are my thoughts on the pros and cons of staying on this platform. Pro: We were here long before Musk took it over. We built this. Con: He has used our creation to help elect a far-right autocrat, and build his own grim political career. 🧵

Deeply disappointed to learn that disgraced liar Boris Johnson was going to be on @Channel4 election coverage, however watching Emily Maitlis completely skewering him is magnificent. #USAElections2024 #USAElections

It is beyond appalling that the UK government opposes safe routes for refugees. Where is their humanity for those fleeing war and persecution? I was proud to be elected by my constituents on a platform that said loud and clear: refugees are welcome here.

Waking up feeling utterly devastated - for the future of our climate, for equality, for women’s health and so much more. Take the day to feel it, but remember to go outside into nature. Tomorrow’s another day, and the fight for what’s right will continue 💚

Ed Davey sums up how many in the UK are feeling about the terrible outcome overnight. The UK must now get serious about reengaging with the EU on trade, defence and other issues.

Never has this been truer. Labour needs to step up, wake up, show up, and get us back on the path to EU membership, in whatever form can be agreed. Blair was right then and is right now. Come on, sort yourselves out. Your economic growth doesn’t exist.
