(Ted talk about T1,orgs,gate keeping and community) Apex legends has to be the most toxic game in competitive and I mean by helping the scene grow , PLAYERS and just the environment overall not talking shit. The egos are genuinely insane. I feel like from majority of what I see and hear is someone tearing someone down instead of uplifting. Oblivion won lan and they don’t get enough respect for it and honestly many feel as it wasn’t deserved and Lucky. Just insane to me. If you just started playing competitive it is extremely hard going from bottom of t2 to entry t1 because it is gatekept. Experience gap , connections and biggest of all toxicity. You can straight on ask t1 players for help as a t1 player even t2 and they will not.Players miss opportunities because of rumors or negativity said about them. It should be experience for yourself then form an opinion rather than hear an opinion from someone else then go with that. You basically have to have the best image possible AND be insane to even get an opportunity. There are people who have insane work ethic and really good but get picked over because of connections/vibes and false narratives that are painted. People talk about less orgs in apex. It is from both APEX and PLAYERS. Yes apex can add player/org skin and esports tab but US PLAYERS can also repost , post , make content , comment, like and spread positivity to the people trying to get signed just bare minimum support. the people that even get signed , people say “ they should’ve signed a different team” “why” “ I bet they are getting low salary that’s probably why they got signed”. The thing I hate the most is when people say “who” instead of “congratulations”.50% something negative instead positive. Us apex players hold apex to the highest standard possible but we as players don’t hold us accountable to the same standard. If everyone works together as a community things will start to change.
