The biggest threat to adoption of actually-useful and non-exploitative crypto applications is how radioactive the very idea has become to some people - see all the people promising to boycott Kickstarter if they dare introduce a crypto-related feature. How do we combat that?

@jackdurose @SourcifyEth .. a critique about colony. Don't get that wrong - it was just meant to say the whole web3 movement needs a lot of more work to make it friendlier to humans.

Just trying out the new colony version - UX is quite bad unfortunately - had to sign a gazillion of transactions and a lot looked like this. We are still very early with things. Really hope for a future where end-users do not face hex strings.

@mr_ligi @SourcifyEth We're making a lot of effort to provide excellent UX with the minimum compromise of decentralization. To the best of my knowledge, contract wallets can't yet sign messages, which colony does a lot. I'm actually also a little unsure how they would help? I'd like to learn more.

@mr_ligi @SourcifyEth On that we can agree, but you can appreciate that it didn't read that way. Colony's gas station tries to make it clear what transactions are doing, but we can certainly do better regarding the hex data. It's all a question of prioritisation.

@felix_macht @jackdurose @joincolony @Greenfield1One The problem is Private Funding and VCs got CLNY between 3$ and 15$. At 15$ FDV = $3B. This is a lot of money for a project to start, At these valuation the risk to reward ratio is not there. Seems greed to me.
