We knew we needed a striker in march of last year and stuck with hirst and bought an unknown to English football. Meanwhile, Ipswich could’ve had morris Mcburnie and bamford. Not having it’s a tough window should’ve had this done months ago. #itfc

@JackDavis4 We’ve conceded the least amount of goals in the division so I think our GK is doing pretty well. We conceded 57 the year we went up, currently at 28!

Club have spent a lot of money and brought in a lot of players in the last couple of years but have failed to improve on several key positions especially upfront. Arguably weaker at GK, RB, RW and ST than the last promotion season despite spending a fortune #itfc

It looks like Kone is going nowhere and Ipswich will have to look elsewhere to bring in a new striker. Ipswich will continue to keep tabs on Kone for the future.
