People are missing my point here. All I’m saying is that Pete Alonso landed in a great spot and is primed to have a big year now that he’s got a fresh start.
The Mets needed to turn the page and so did Pete. It’s that simple.
Forgive me, but I’ll still be rooting for him.

One notable thing from the Mets game yesterday:
Ben Simon consistently hitting 97/98 mph with his fastball.
He saw a velocity boost at the end of last season as he finished with a 1.06 ERA in 17 innings for Double-A Binghamton.
