Personally I think @JoeyVotto would have rather proven the umpire wrong with a walk or hit than let a robot do it.

My 12 yo son gets into phrases he uses as chirps in hockey, so when he finds one he likes, that’s all he says. Right now it’s “give your balls a tug” Me: “honey, take the garbage out.” Him: “give yer balls a tug.” Me: “that makes no sense” Him: “better give yer balls a tug.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ So of course half the time I’m scrolling dudes whining on social media and I really desperately want to write: “maybe you should give yer balls a tug.” My writer’s tongue is being corrupted by my own (hilarious) kid
