Northern Illinois defensive lineman Mark Hensley is signing with Missouri, he told ESPN. He’s an interior defensive lineman with 5.0 TFLs and 1 sack last year. He finished the year with 32 tackles. He’s a native of Labadie, Missouri, which makes this a homecoming for Hensley.

NIU adds a punter to this year’s roster with a commitment from Jake Ference out of Lafayette (Mo.). Ference received his first D1 offer from NIU on Nov. 24. His older brother, Matt, served as the Huskies’ starting punter from 2017 to 2021.
