I remember looking down from a three-story building with tears in my eyes, asking myself, “What if I jump down?” I was crazy broke at that time. I knew I had potential, but nothing was making sense. Life was tough. I went to a government school. I didn’t even know what it meant to wear pretty dresses or be girly enough to fix nails lol. The first time I ever felt good or bragged about the money I worked hard for was when I received 30,000 naira one time in my account. I can still remember the feeling. I felt so good but that was sapa at its core. That was around 2018–2020, I was broke like maddd. I had friends spending money and living what I admired as the “good life.” I told myself I wasn’t just going to sit there. I worked all kinds of jobs at Nepa office, secondary school teacher, sold food, sold zobo, worked at a pos store, ran errands here and there to raise funds. Back then, POS was a big deal. I pushed all my raised money into a POS business. I was still in university, so I employed a lady to help me manage it. I came back from school one day to find out she had relocated to another state with all the cash I had left with her and that was literally all the business funds. Omo bro! I screamed! Another breaking moment! I cried my eyes out that day. I didn’t even have money to follow up or investigate any thing. Bro! I was broke, and I wasn’t the type to ask for help. I knew I had potential, but nothing breaks you like seeing others fly while you’re still hoping on your potential. Then I was cooking oil rice with lots of pepper so I could eat a small portion and drink lots of water to carry me longer. I looked around and said to myself, nothing changes until I make some crazy changes. I saw people making money in tech, working remotely, earning in $$$. I cut off friends who weren’t helpful for my growth and disappeared for a while, digging deep into tech and trying to make my life better. I wasn’t even sure what I was doing. All I knew was I was desperate and obsessed with the tech grind, trying to make it work for my life. Within a year, I started making good money online and building solid connections. I first made my first $500, then my first $1,000, then $5,000 and the rest was history. I wasn’t even active online here on X. I was lowkey trying to build substance. After some time, I appeared on social media fully. I can’t share all the details of my life’s journey publicly as some things are meant to be kept private but I’m sure you get the point so far. Long story short, I have never again looked down from a story building thinking about jumping. Within 5 – 7 years of taking charge of my life, I graduated studying maths with a 2.1, built a reputation, impacted lives, made friends and connections, traveled places, founded @growthinweb3, worked with top brands, made thousands of dollars, made my parents proud, and fully relocated abroad. Life is tough, but one thing has kept me going: how much I didn’t want to be in the same place I was in 2020. If there’s anything at all, let my story encourage you. Look around, make some crazy drastic changes and sacrifices. Always remember, it’s your life, and if you want to spend your later days enjoying it, you have to do everything in your power to make it work. 📌 With love🤍

Bittensor (TAO) Investment Thesis TL;DR: AI Legos. Bear case: 0.5x Conservative: 2-5x Optimistic: 5x-20x Everything aligns: 20x-100x Summary: A decentralised protocol that pools machines and incentivises anybody to deploy their own functions on the protocol as ‘subnets’. Every subnet is a usecase of the network. “Subnets” - the primary innovation of the project - user-deployed usecases of the protocol. Each Subnet comes with its own architecture (incentive systems, consensus rules, algorithms). Think of subnets as apps that make use of the base network (Bittensor) as its operating system. There are already 10+ subnets, with each serving a specific function. The interfaces for these (as well as the subnets themselves) have all been community developed and deployed. For example, Subnet 4 is a ‘multi-modality subnet’ which has already scraped over 9+ million tweets, at 6000 tweets per second at the moment. Exponentially superior: Unlike OpenAI which is limited by the developments and algorithms within their single entity, Subnets are interoperable. I.e. they can feed off of others data, algorithms, intelligence, machines. I.e. every new subnet increases the probability of the entire network’s success. In comparison - Bittensor already serves over 10 trillion model parameters, while GPT3 only serves 175 billion. Speed + scalability: ‘AI on the blockchain’ seems redundant considering its speed and scalability limitations - although, Bittensor’s unique approach is to only host consensus-critical components on-chain while keeping other components off-chain. Tokenomics: TAO facilitates an interesting demand/supply dynamic - providing computation and intelligence to the network is rewarded (emmission) + token staking + Bitcoin-like halving every 4 years + cap on supply at 21M + no pre-mine + no VC funding (fully bootstrapped) Ethics: Bittensor fits right in as a solution around the argument of fair, open and decentralised AI - completely community developed with actual functioning models while staying open-source and transparent. “The importance of decentralizing AI is approaching the importance of decentralizing money.” - @ErikVoorhees Catalysts: - Non-stop subnet deployments - Religious community - AI narrative - Closed-source competitors valuations - Token incentives (demand pressure) - Staking (supply pressure) - Halving (supply pressure) - Not listed on any major exchange - Not recognised by the wider market - Still no user-friendly interfaces Negatives: - Heavy token issuance (2M+ a year till the next halving) - Competitor head start Disclaimer: Not Financial Advise.

Update on the $PEAQ tokenomics discussion: After a lot of back and forth across X, Discord and different sources, the picture is becoming much clearer. • The MiCA whitepaper confirms a capped total supply (~5.67B $PEAQ) • @WendlerTill also explicitly stated that $PEAQ has a hard cap • The team confirmed they are currently aligning all public sources (website, CMC, CG, etc.) And we’re already seeing this in action: CoinMarketCap has updated the max supply to ~5.66B $PEAQ, while other platforms are still catching up. So the confusion likely came from inconsistent documentation during this transition phase. Important nuance: While the total supply is capped, the circulating supply can still change over time due to vesting, emissions and governance decisions. Which means: Hard cap ≠ no token dynamics. For me, this was never about pointing fingers. Maybe it's the journalist in me, but I tend to dig until things make sense. Glad to see things moving in that direction. And glad to see @peaq delivering, whether it's bear or bull market.

My main speech at the just concluded Technova summit. Building a brand in web3, step by step guide. ⚡️Niche down: Everyone started out with a thing, people where basically known for a particular thing from the beginning, find that niche and you have completed like 40% of your branding. ps, Banger boy/girl is not a brand (many people will hate you or not work with you later in the future if you start out insulting people. ⚡️Learn a skill that is needed in that niche; if you're going to be an onchain maxi, or particularly data analyst, you should learn onchain analysis or data management, becoming real good at it and you're good to go. ⚡️Build social presence; polish up your x handle with your name pfp that suits your niche, double down on most social medias and you are good to go. ⚡️The publish proof of work: you need to prove to people you know your work. you do it independently and make money off it, post verifiable data about it on your socials ⚡️Guide your reputation; you brand is dependable on your reputation. if you're not reputable here, most people won't work with you. so guide that and keep your head straight. These are literally every step to you need to grow here, don't fail to learn.

TAO Telegraph — Bittensor Media
Let’s be real, TAO is up because of this viral post by @tplr_ai To buy tao subnet tokens, investors NEED to own $TAO to exchange into it… there is no way around this. Hype for one subnet token this week caused TAO demand to rise, just imagine if there is this type of demand for multiple subnets at the same time. You are not bullish enough.
templar@tplr_ai

We just completed the largest decentralised LLM pre-training run in history: Covenant-72B. Permissionless, on Bittensor subnet 3. 72B parameters. ~1.1T tokens. Commodity internet. No centralized cluster. No whitelist. Anyone with GPUs could join or leave freely. 1/n

If you are buying $TAO for the first time this week, remember this: 1. Native staking yield is c. 15%. Don’t hold it with a CEX, create a self-custodied wallet and stake it to the network (no risks as long as your keys are safe) 2. Start learning about subnets. The yields there can exceed 50% but the subnets tokens are obviously a lot more volatile. A lot of compounding return will be made stacking subnet tokens on top $TAO’s own price appreciation, but you need to know what you are doing there. Some resources to get you started 👇
